Lorraine Udell
Inspired by the Blyth staithes and the community of that generation. I've used old china for the sea, embedded with memories of meals and special occasions. The bolts were from my husband's grandfather's tool chest that we inherited.

Lorraine is a Mosaic Artist from Newcastle, using glass and vintage china to express her love of colour and place. She returned to her northern roots with its beautiful coastline in 2009 after 10 years of living too far from the sea. She undertakes commissions and runs mosaic workshops in North-East England.
Lorraine has a background in dementia care and is a Member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM)
