I am a ceramic artist, creating decorative and functional pieces using hand building techniques. I work mostly in porcelain and white stoneware.
My work is influenced by my childhood, growing up in rural Scotland and holidays spent on the West Coast. All my pieces are hand built, often textured by found objects, such as printing blocks and wallpapers. I love to incorporate glass into my pieces, layering it with different glazes.
